-köhncke is one of the kompakt stalwarts and should be a bigger name than he is. hes got eccentric style, sweet taste and knows his way around a mixing desk. his material is well worth delving into a german pop gem that shouldered in with the nuveau tech community

-what needs to be said about the egyptian lover? his freakness is such a pioneer of the evolution of electronic music its a shame he often gets forgotten about. he's back on the circuit again and ][ still pissed at missing his show earlier this year. the mood, the pace, the bass of this track is unmistakable. legend beyond legend, the spotlight has to return to this man sometime soon.

-kammerflimmer kollektief are one of the finest bands on the go today. forget about that overblown 8.4 rated group of muck savages post web reviewer blow job. these guys are solid. this track is taken from as equally a solid remix album. staubgold is an astonishing label, the depth of work is incredible if a little daunting.

-the twlight sad are newish to ][ ears, excellent album, unmistakably glasgow in feel. its ages since ive heard something this raw, straight forward and honest. makes you release the beauty in things that arent polished.

-been a huge fan of anything dose one related for years. cLOUDDEAD's ten is an all time fav. his encore appearance with the notwist a few years ago is one of the most memorable live performances ][ ever witnessed. the list goes on from themselves to solo stuff to the anticon back catalogue. this subtle stuff is awesome. ][ buy anything i can find, this track is from the last twist by these guys + dax pearson is an insane keyboardist who is back in action after being paralised during a tour bus crash back in 2005.

-neu! neuff said, check em out.

-this marc leclair album is beautiful. the guy has a wonder touch, a wonder sound. ][ put some akufen tracks up here before either as posts are in mixes. all brilliant.

-arthur russell died of aids back in the 80s. he's something of a new york legend. the scencerity, honesty and grit of his music is unparalleled. a cellist and producer of amazing avant disco. his back catalogue shines and will shine brighter as the years grow longer.

-been on the shitkatapult bandwagon since its inception. apparat is one of the finest german producers out there and his back catalogue grows by the year. this track is from an early'katapult release. cant wait for his new work with modeselektor = moderat. the let your love glow (featuring paul st. hilaire) was featured in the mother milk mix posted here in may.

-this kid khonner released this album when he was 18 a few years back. i really dont know what is happening to modern day youth. the government needs to intervene before its too late.
